Well, we have returned to normal life after almost a month of wedded bliss. Between the wedding and our amazing 2 week honeymoon...I feel like I have been living on cloud 9! Scott and I took off to Pennsylvania on October 21st. We stayed with my grandmother for 3 days, saw some family, then drove up to the Pocono mountains. We stayed in Bushkill Falls for a week. My parents started out their married life together up near there, so it was pretty amazing for me to go to the same place! We went to an animal rescue farm where I got to feed piggies, took a tour of the historic Delaware-Water Gap, took a guided tour to New York City, explored the historic town of Shawnee, hiked the beautiful Bushkill Falls. We had so much fun just driving around and exploring the beautiful back roads, saw the first house I ever lived in along with the church I was baptized in and even saw some friends of my parents. After our amazing week in the mountains we were able to spend the next 5 days with family! It was perfect!!!!

Baby bump bride

So....our lives have been busy in the last few months!!! We found out that we are expecting our first child in February. Many people asked if we were planning on moving up the date of the wedding. I said, "of course not, everything will all work out. We are staying with everything as planned!" Now I am hoping I don't eat my words as my dress barely fits! Hopefully this baby doesn't grow for the next month! HA what am I saying....of course it's gonna grow. So off to check out seamstresses!! Hopefully we'll be able to let out the dress.
So onto plans for the wedding. I am so excited for all the plans we have for this wedding!!! We have so many fun things planned and I am just hoping that our guests have as much fun as I am planning! Hee hee!! I have never been to a wedding that has been this theme oriented. I just hope that it doesn't turn into some super cheesy wedding.
I can't believe how many little things you have to take into account for a DIY wedding. I never paid much attention to how these "little" things were done at other people's weddings. I just cannot wait to stand up in front of all my family and friends and pledge my love to the man of my dreams. Can we just quit with all the planning stuff and have this wedding already! I can't wait to call Scott my husband!!!

The start of our blog

Hello there! I have finally decided that Scott and I need to join the world of blogs!! Here is where all our loved ones can keep up with what's going on in our life. We have been busy, busy, busy! April 17th was our Engagement Party! It was sooo amazing. We are so blessed to have so many friends and family that love us soooo much! Scott and I played some really fun newly-wed games thanks to my awesome friend, Stacey. My bestest friend, Tomi, made us the most amazing cake shaped like a cowboy hat. Just like the one Scott was wearing when we met. My amazing mom and dad also got us another beautiful cake that said "Congratualtions"! Tomi also made a DVD that was all about Scott & I since we've met. It was beautiful and fun to watch! It truly was a most wonderful day filled with laughter and love!
